     Arthur holds a Master’s degree in Music with a focus on conducting and performance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, both from SUNY Fredonia. He has performed with ensembles including the Western New York Chamber Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Syracuse Symphoria, and the Fredonia Camerata.

     A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Arthur plays a wide range of instruments across families, including strings (violin, viola, cello, bass, viola da gamba), keyboards (piano, organ, harpsichord), recorders, and winds and brass such as flute, trumpet, and trombone. His adaptability as both a soloist and ensemble musician has given him opportunities to collaborate in varied musical settings.

     Arthur has had the privilege of performing with distinguished artists including Geoffrey Burgess (oboe) and Andrew Fouts (violin), and has played bass for acclaimed composer Jason Robert Brown. His recent vocal work includes performances with Schola Cantorum of Syracuse, Syracuse University Oratorio Society, and Syracuse Opera.

     In addition to his work on stage, Arthur is an experienced educator, committed to fostering musicianship in students of all ages and abilities. Whether conducting, performing, or teaching, he brings the same dedication to excellence and love of music to every project.
